Karabakh problem can be solved in framework of international and interreligious dialogue

Nagorno-Karabakh problem is not a problem of only two nations, it must be solved in framework of international and interreligious dialogue, the head of Caucasus muslims sheyhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade said at the opening of the interreligious summit of CIS.

'We must crate an atmosphere where nations will come closer to each other and won't attack one another, - he said. Religious leaders can't remain indifferent towards the problems of our countries', Trend quotes him.

He supported the Moscow patriarch's words that the conflict of Nagorno-Karabakh could be resolved only in a peaceful way. According to his words, the rich experience of the church can be used in relations between nations.

Pashazade also said that the council had achieved a lot during the time of its existence. He expressed his satisfaction in the council's activity against the religious confrontation, religious radicalism, xenophoby, use of religion for political purposes, us of religious mottos by extremists.

He pointed out that development of tollerance is one of the main issues of the council.
