The Russian Prosecutor General's Office has initiated tens of criminal
cases for violation of prices for public utilities.
According to Stavropolye TV channel, Stavropol Territory was put on
the blacklist, together with Dagestan, Buryat Republic, Archangelsk,
Magadan, Saratov and Chelyabinsk Regions. The president called for the
punishment of the people responsible for the violations.
Inspections will be initiated for managing companies, housing and
public utilities and housing cooperatives. The initiatives are to be
fulfilled by June 2011.
