The Iranian Foreign Ministry did not allow the mayor of Tehran, Mohammedbagiru Ghalibaf, and his delegation to visit Washington. Ghalibaf was expected to visit Washington for the international "Public Transport” award, Trend reports citing the Iranian news agency FARS.
