Iranian nuclear issue not raised at Iran Six Istanbul talks

The uranium enrichment program of Iran and the right of countries to
acquire nuclear technology were not the subject of discussion at the
talks in Istanbul, Deputy Secretary of the press service of the
National Security Council of Iran, Abulfazl Zohravend, said, Trend
reports with reference to the Iranian news agency IRNA.

The last round of talks on the nuclear program of Iran between the 5+1
countries (permanent members of the UN Security Council, the US,
China, Russia, France, Britain, and Germany) and Iran after a 14-month
break, took place in Geneva in December 2010. An agreement was reached
to hold the next round of talks on the 21st of January, 2011.

The talks were held on Friday in Istanbul.
