The EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus, Peter Semneby, is starting a visit to Azerbaijan today, Trend reports. In the framework of the official visit Mr. Semneby will discuss the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement, Semneby himself told reporters in Baku on Sunday.
"The agenda includes discussions over the conflict resolution and we will pay attention to the efforts being made to resolve it," Semneby said.
The European official has admitted that the EU is interested in the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. "The EU recognizes Azerbaijan's territorial integrity and EU's position on this issue remains unchanged," Semneby told journalists.
