Parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan were held in a peaceful
atmosphere, the monitoring mission of the Parliamentary Assembly of
the Council of Europe (PACE) said after the polls on 7 November 2010,
Polish deputy Tadeusz Iwinski said, Trend reports.
Iwinski said that some deputies are discontented with the report,
saying that it is subjective. He said that Azerbaijan needs to put
more effort into the electoral process. PACE and the European Council
will continue cooperation with Azerbaijan and support its democratic,
initiatives, Iwinski said.
