A "blue helmet" force of the CSTO has been formed and will begin development practical operations in the near future, RIA Novosti reports.
The set of documents on forming the collective peacekeeping forces is ratified by all countries.
Collective peacekeeping forces will include 3,500 soldiers and 500 representatives of law-enforcement agencies of the organization.
The CSTO includes Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
