The head of Karachay-Cherkessia and the Russian Minister of
Agriculture, Boris Ebzeyev and Yelena Skrynnik, have signed an
agreement on providing over 750 million rubles-worth of subsidies for
the republic’s agricultural sector in 2011, Interfax reports.
A spokesman for Ebzeyev’s press-service said that Karachay-Cherkessia
will receive 540 million rubles from the state budget. An additional
217 million rubles will be provided as co-financing. 30% of the sum
will be available in the first quarter of 2011.
