OSCE chairman to visit Moscow

Audronius Azubalis, OSCE Chairman-in-Office and Minister of Foreign
Affairs of Lithuania, will arrive on a three-day visit to Moscow on
February 1 to discuss conflicts, inter-ethnic threats, energy
security, freedom of the press and ways to strengthen the
organization, Trend reports, citing the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry.


Lithuania took over chairmanship of the organization from Kazakhstan
on January 1.


Azubalis will lay also flowers at Domodedovo airport, where 35 were
killed and over 120 injured in a terrorist attack on January 24.


Azubalis will meet the Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey
Lavrov, head of the committee for international affairs of the Russian
parliament Konstantin Kosachyov, head of the Russian Human Rights
Council Mikhail Fedotov, Ombudsman Vladimir Lukin, public officials,
experts and the press.
