The spring session of the Azerbaijani parliament has started work,
Trend reports.
The session started with the State Hymn of Azerbaijan.
The schedule of February 1 has 14 issues for consideration. It
includes the plan of legislative work of the spring session,
organization of the Disciplinary and Accounts Commissions of the
parliament.
The deputies will view bills related to approval of the agreement on
security cooperation in the Caspian Sea, the joint declaration of
Azerbaijani, Iranian, Kazakh, Russian and Turkmen presidents, the
agreement on a visa-free regime for citizens with diplomatic and
service passports between Azerbaijani and Italian governments,
Azerbaijan and Portugal, cooperation of Azerbaijani and Kazakh
governments in civilian defense and prevention of emergency
situations, the convention on benefits and immunities of officials of
the secretariat of the council for cooperation and trust in Asia, its
staff and members of the council.
The parliament will have talks on amendments and adjustments to the
Electoral Code, the Code of Administrative Violations, the law on
state service and obligatory insurance.
