The new American ambassador to Azerbaijan, Matthew Bryza, stated that the priority aim of his work is a peaceful and just settling of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Bryza said this at a reception in his honour organized by USACC, Trend reports.
Bryza stated that he aims to improve relations between Azerbaijan and the US, adding that Azerbaijan suggested a wide range of possibilities in cooperation, not only in the sphere of oil and gas production.
The new ambassador was impatient to come to Baku, as the former American ambassador to the country left Azerbaijan 18 months ago. Bryza is to arrive in Baku early this month.
