The Turkish Vice-premier says: the vote in the Committee of the U.S. Congress was a tragicomedy

The vote in the Committee of the U.S. Congress shouldn’t be called a comedy but tragicomedy, the Turkish Vice-premier and Minister of State Bülent Arınç, reports Trend News referring to the news agency Cihan.

As the "VC" has previously reported, the Foreign Relations Committee of the U.S. Congress adopted the resolution on recognition of the so called "Armenian genocide". 23 congressmen voted for the adoption of the resolution and 22 voted against it.

Having emphasized that eventually this vote has led to the lamentable and ridiculous situation, he noted that such a thing can not happen in the Turkish parliamentary system.

"This decision is not the end of the world", - said Bülent Arınç.
