Tens of thousands of protesters gathered on the streets of Sana in
Yemen on Thursday morning, demanding political reforms, Trend cites Al
Jazeera as saying.
They split into two groups - supporters and opposition of the president.
Yemen President Ali Abdullah Saleh said earlier that he would not
search for ways to extend his presidential terms, which expires in
2013. Experts believe that the decision was made in the wake of
Egyptian leader Hosni Mubarak's statement. The Egyptian president said
that he will not run in the coming elections.
