Attack on prison vehicle in Karachay-Cherkessia

Seven unknown assailants attacked a car carrying a prisoner today in
Karachay-Cherkessia, near a village garden, 5 km from Cherkessk,
Itar-Tass reports, referring to the press service of the republic's
Interior Ministry.

Three employees escorting the prisoner were killed, including the
driver of the vehicle. The prisoner managed to escape, along with the
attackers.
