The monthly norm of snow hit the Khunzakh District of Dagestan last
weekend. Most villages of the district were left without power,
RIA Dagestan reports.
110-115 mm of snow was registered. Power lines broke. Schools and
other structures were closed. Snowbanks reach 0.5 meters in height.
Deputy head of the district Gamzat Ammayev said that all snow plough
equipment was mobilized.
