Special operation in Shatoi district of Chechnya

Russia's security services are carrying out a special operation in the
mountainous Shatoi district of Chechnya to neutralize militants, the
Minister of Internal Affairs of Chechnya, Ruslan Alkhanov, said, RIA
Novosti reports.

He said the operation was led by a special operation commander of the
second regiment of the police, Akhmad Kadyrov Vakhit Usman. The head
of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, remarked that the weather allows for a
special operation in night conditions.
