Renovation works in South Ossetia to be completed by end of first quarter of 2011

The head of South Ossetia, Eduard Kokoity, said the comprehensive
restoration plan in the republic will be accomplished by the end of
the first quarter of 2011, Yuga.ru reports.

According to Kokoity, the plan provides for the renovation of 429
buildings, 212 of which are now inhabited.

According to the head of South Ossetia, 8.5 billion rubles were
allocated for the comprehensive restoration of the republic. Kokoity,
answering a question from “Profile” magazine regarding a sum of 26
billion rubles, which according to Russian Prime Minister Vladimir
Putin was allocated for the restoration of South Ossetia, and that
this money is not visible in the country, said that "the investments
are not visible to those who do not want to see them.”
