Ambassadors of NATO states to agitate for Georgian alliance membership

The information centre of NATO in Georgia has presented the diplomatic corps with its reports on 2010 and plans for 2011, Trend reports.

Deputy minister for European integration Elena Khoshtaria and representatives of embassies of NATO states were present at the meeting.

The meeting was aimed at discussion of further cooperation between the centre and embassies. It was agreed that ambassadors of NATO states will meet with the Georgian population to explain the necessity of entering the alliance.

The NATO information centre in Georgia is a link between the population, state structures and democratic institutions.
