The president of Iran, Mahmud Ahmadinejad, plans to visit Armenia in the near future, according to the Iranian ambassador in Armenia, Seied Ali Sgajan, News.am reports.
He said that the president of Armenia Serge Sargsyan will visit Iran, where he will take part in the celebration of Novruz.
Ahmadinejad also invited the Azerbaijani leader Ilham Aliyev to Iran for the annual celebration. The celebration will be held on 27-28 March 2011.
