The Russian Emergencies Ministry has developed criteria for the
psychological evaluation of specialists responsible for security at
the Sochi Olympic Games 2014, ITAR-TASS reports.
Director of the ministry's Center for Emergency Psychological Aid
Yulia Shoygu said that the criteria do not evaluate the state of
readiness of separate staff members and staff groups.
The method of evaluating social-psychological risks was developed in
2010. Specialists defined 20 parameters needed to be taken into
account when coping with repercussions of an emergency situation and
providing psychological support.
One of the parameters is the size of a populated area, distance of the
area and the way quality of media informing about the event.
