Murderer of criminal leader charged in Stavropol

The driver of the owner of the house where 8 people were found killed
in Stavropol in mid-January has been charged, the Main Investigation
Department of the Southern Federal District and the North Caucasian
Federal District says, Interfax reports.


The suspect is believed to have attacked the people to obtain money
kept in the house. The money was not stolen because the criminal
failed to open the safe.


Vestnik Kavkaza reported earlier that 8 people, five men and three
women, were found dead in Stavropol on January 21. Vladimir Slizayev,
born in 1950, is a criminal authority, nicknamed "Khan". He, his
relatives, dog-breeder, a nanny and a driver were among the killed. An
8-year old and a two-week old boy survived the attack.
