A landslide destroyed last night the road section on the 56th km of
the federal Jugba-Sochi highway at Tuapse port, a traffic police
spokesman told RIA Novosti.
The landslide at Tuapse started on Tuesday. It damaged approximately
50 m of road, leaving only one line operating. Last night the
remaining part of the road was destroyed.
The police patrol official added that a long traffic jam occurred.
Police at Goryachy Kluch stop all vehicles and recommend drivers to
drive through the SHaumyanovsky mountain pass. However, there is also
a landslide risk.
