China does not approve sanctions against Iran


China thinks that the application of sanctions against Iran will not favour solving the nuclear problem, said the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PRC Yan Czechi, reports Interfax.

"We do not consider sanctions to be a possible way of solving the Iranian nuclear problem", - said the head of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday during the press-conference being a part of session of the National People's Congress (NPC, the superior body of the political authority in China).

He noted, that, according to the opinion of the Chinese side, "diplomatic efforts should be built up for rational and just solution of the Iranian nuclear question".

Yan Czechi admitted that solution of the «Iranian nuclear problem» has recently faced difficulties, but diplomatic efforts have not been exhausted yet".
