The Stavropol Territory will receive funds from the federal budget for
the construction of hydro-technical structures, and the regional
budget will add 130 million rubles as co-financing, Yuga.ru reports.
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Stavropol
Territory had its projects approved by the Federal Agency for Water
Resources in 2010. The list of water structures will be approved by
the Russian government in the near future. Finances will be issued
after deals will be signed by the regional ministry and the federal
agency.
The press-service of the department for state information policy of
the regional government said that four water facilities will have
works in 2011. 360 million rubles from the federal budget will be
spent on enforcing the banks of river Podkumok at Podkumok village of
Predgorny District, Bugunta river in Yessentuki and the river banks of
Podkumok river from Kislovodsk to the Bely Ugol village.
