Minister of Interior orders proposals to be prepared for improving transport security

The Russian Interior Minister, Rashid Nurgaliyev, has ordered his
deputy, Colonel-General Viktor Kiryanov, to provide detailed proposals
for improving the security of the transport complex soon as possible,
at a meeting on transport security, the Interior Ministry press center
reports.

The meeting was attended by leaders of the Main Department for the
Transport Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia and the transport
police of the Moscow region. According to the minister, it is
necessary to restructure the work of the transport police and improve
legislation in the sphere of ensuring security in the transport
sector, the press center reports.
