Iranian Minister of the Interior Mostafa Mohammad-Najjar said that the
government has developed a new plan to improve security on the border,
Press TV reports.
The minister told IRNA on Sunday that the new plan was realized on the
north-western and eastern border and will be realized throughout the
whole border in the near future. He noted that the government
increased financing of border security 17-fold, compared with former
administrations.
Mohamma-Najjar visited Masqat in January where he had talks with
high-ranking officials of Oman on improvement of security measures and
bilateral cooperation.
