The former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak may have slipped into a
coma, Al-Masry Al Youm reports.
Reports say Mubarak slipped into a coma after arriving at Sharm
el-Sheikh and is undergoing treatment at his residence in the city.
The decision on moving the president to a hospital has not been made
yet.
Rumors about Mubarak's health problems started after his speech on live TV
on Thursday. The speech was delayed and there were doubts whether
the speech would be recorded or made live.
The paper reports that the speech was re-edited several times by
Mubarak's son Gamal. Mubarak fainted several times during the recording of
his speech.
There is no official information on the former president's health in
Cairo. JCC News says that Mubarak is at death point in the German city of
Baden. German Chancellor Angela Merkel refuted the rumors, explaining
that Mubarak would need a visa to visit Germany.
