Reforms in administrative structure of Chechnya

The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, announced the establishment of
the Republican Ministry for Construction and Highways, as well as the
transformation of the Ministry of Forestry into a department under the
control of the Ministry of Agriculture, Yuga.ru reports.

According to Ramzan Kadyrov, these changes are due to unsatisfactory
work in specialized industries, the press service of the Chechen
leadership reports. The Ministry for Construction and Highways will be
headed by the vice prime minister, Abubakar Tumhadzhiev. The vice
premier and the minister of Agriculture, Abubakar Elelgeriev, will
coordinate the work of the Forestry Department.
