The number of Russian patrol boats in the Abkhaz city of Ochanchir
will double in the near future, RIA Novosti reports, citing a head of
the coastguard service of the border division of the Russian FSS in
the republic, Captain Alexander Tudakov.
Russian coastguards are located in Abkhazia according to an April
agreement aimed at joint efforts to protect the border. According to
Tudakov, there are currently four coastal boats, which will rise to
eight soon.
