The European Commission has given a positive assessment of democratic
reforms in Georgia, the president of the European Union’s Committee of
the Regions Luke Van der Brande said after a meeting with Georgian
Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Ramaz
Nikolaishvili in Brussels, Georgia Online reports.
Nikolaishvili said that the meeting was significant. The country is
making steps towards autonomy. Georgia would like to use the European
experience in this sphere, the minister said.
