Militants killed on the border of Stavropol region identified

The identity of the five criminals who were killed today in a raid on the border of the Karachay-Cherkessia and Stavropol regions has been established. These are the people who attacked a police convoy in  early February and the prisoner who escaped with them, RIA Novosti reported.

Aydemir Alakai, Marat Kivalov, Zurab Dumenov and Moussa Aybazov, wanted for the attack on a police convoy, and a prisoner released by them, Ruslan Suleimanov, were killed today in a special operation,said senior assistant director of the republic's Investigation Committee Sergei Shuvaev, RIA Novosti reports.

On February, 4 on the federal highway Nevinnomyssk - Dombay unknown people fired at the car police convoy transporting the prisoner from the village Adyge-Jable to Cherkessk. Three police officers were killed in the attack
