The CSTO is discussing the establishment of a joint military group in Central Asia for the strengthening of collective security. Today the minister of defense of Kyrgyzstan, Abibla Kudaberdiyev, and the general secretary of the CSTO, Nikolai Bordjuzha, met and discussed this topic, ITAR-TASS reports.
The general secretary stated that along with the subdivisions of Collective Forces of rapid development and Collective Forces of critical response in the military group will be included national development subdivisions and troop units. He also stated that it is time to think about a joint missile defense system with the centre in one particular country.
