Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian has met Mohammad-Reza Rauf
Sheybani, the special envoy of the Iranian president and deputy
Iranian foreign minister. Nalbandian expressed satisfaction with the
state of Armenian-Iranian relations and the development of
cooperation, News Armenia reports.
Sheybani sent regards from Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi
to Nalbandian.
The sides talked about the work of the Armenian-Iranian
inter-governmental commission, noting that its operation has
significance in developing economic cooperation, as well as the
development and realization of joint programs. The sides talked about
establishing a mechanism for regular consultations between their
Ministries of Foreign Affairs.
Nalbandian and Sheybani discussed the prospects of energy and
transport programs and exchanged views on regional affairs.
