Russian police, who on March 1 will change their name from militsia to politsia, will continue to use the old uniform until the beginning of 2012, ITAR-TASS reports, citing Deputy Interior Minister Sergei Bulavin.
The exact look of the new uniform is still unknown. Samples of uniform police officers will be approved by the government. The law "On Police" will come into force on March, 1 2011, not January 1 as planned.
