he Georgian Foreign Ministry welcomes the decision signed by the European Commission on April 27th to ease visa restrictions with the country.
The European Commission has also called on the European Parliament and European Council to pass all the procedures to put the decision into legal force as soon as possible, reports Rosbalt.
According to Georgian Foreign Minister Nino Kalandadze, the agreement is expected to be signed in mid-June 2010. "The translation of the agreement into 23 languages of the EU has been completed, which means we will sign it very soon," - she said.
