Georgian artillery instructors to be sent to Afghanistan

The Parliament of Georgia today approved sending to Afghanistan the group of 11 artillery instructers to participate in the ongoing peacekeeping operation there. 73 deputies supported this decision and only one voted against, Trend reports.

Georgian instructors who will join 950 Georgian soldiers  in Afghanistan will train Afghan army. The group will serve under the French command, and the period of rotation for the members of the group will be five months.
