Visa-free regime between Turkey and Malaysia

The prime minister of Turkey, Redjep Taijip Erdogan, has announced that Turkey and Malaysia are to cancel the visa regime for travel between their two countries, TRT reports.

The last official visit of a Malaysian prime minister to Turkey took place 28 years ago. Erdogan met his Malaysian colleague Nadjip Abdurezzak in the central hall of the governmental airport.

After the tete-a-tete meeting between the two prime ministers they made a mutual statement. Erdogan said that he believed this visit would be fruitful, citing the cancellation of the the visa regime between the two countries.
