Armenia and Argentina set visa-free regime

The government of Armenia has approved an agreement on a visa-free regime with Argentina today, News Armenia reports.


The Armenian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Arman Kirakosyan, said that Argentina will be the first state apart from some CIS members with which Armenia will have a visa-free regime.


The deal is aimed at easing the transport of citizens and stimulating bilateral cooperation. Citizens will be allowed to visit each other’s countries using their internal passports with no need for visas. Their visits may last for up to 90 days.
