Azerbaijani Minister of Foreign Affairs Emlar Mammadyarov is on a visit
to Ukraine where he met the Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Lytvyn,
Prime Minister Mykola Azarov and Foreign Minister Constantine Grishenko,

The sides discussed political and economic issues and noted the high
level of cooperation between the parliaments of Azerbaijan and Ukraine
and the role of parliament diplomacy.
At the meeting with Azarov, the Azerbaijani minister decided to hold a
session of the Azerbaijani-Ukrainian inter-government commission. They
agreed to hold a business-forum and organize exhibitions on expanding
cooperation in agriculture and other spheres.
Grishenko noted the high level of political ties and cooperation within
international organizations. The ministers underlined the dynamic
cooperation in economy and energy. Humanitarian sphere was also a topic
for discussion.
