CSTO plans to create single automated border control system

The Collective Security Treaty Organization has decided to create a unified automated border control system,  the Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty, Nikolay Bordyuzha, said on Friday, RIA Novosti reports.

According to him, this will involve the creation of a unified automated border control system of the CSTO member states, as well as equipping border and immigration controls with modern technical means of verification and identification. The new measures are aimed at eliminating crime, particularly human and dru
