A subsidiary of the Bank of Moscow was robbed in the center of Vladikavkaz at 22.00 on February 28, RIA Novosti reports.
The assailants were armed and stole 180 million rubles. The police have a range of suspects, head of the press-secretary of the North Ossetian Interior Ministry Alla Akhpolova said.
Akhlopova said that the bank was guarded but the assailants entered it through a window. They were in the bank for half an hour and lost 1 million rubles while escaping. She emphasized that there are questions to the bank head, Interfax reports.
The police were mobilized to intercept the assailants.
