Russia gives full information on Nagorno-Karabakh peace process to US

The US Assistant Deputy Secretary of State Philip Gordon disagrees with the view that Russia has taken the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement under control by initiating a meeting between the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan.


The US diplomat made the statement at the Global Security Conference in Bratislava, Mediamax reports.
Gordon said that Russian geographical position allows it to organize the meetings in Sochi, Moscow, Saint-Petersburg and Astrakhan easier that in Washington.


The diplomat said that Russia is open and it informs the USA and France on all details of the meetings.
Gordon said that co-chairs have trust because they speak from common interests. The interests consist in full security of Europe, he noted.
