In 2011, 37 major projects will be launched in the North Caucasus Federal District at a cost of 400 billion rubles, Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said, Interfax reports.
As reported earlier by VK, in September 2010 the presidential envoy to the North Caucasus Federal District, Alexander Khloponin, stated that the estimated financing for the development of the Caucasus until 2025 will amount to about 600 billion rubles from federal and private investments.
