The government of Kabardino-Balkaria has approved the draft national target program on prevention of terrorism and extremism in for the years 2011-2014, Yuga.ru reports.
According to the head of security and cooperation with the law enforcement administration of the head of Kabardino-Balkaria, the document seeks to implement state policy on prevention of terrorism and extremism, ensuring long-term socio-political stability in the country and the harmonious ethnic and cultural development of peoples of the republic.
The program also provides improvements in the system of preventative anti-terrorism and anti-extremism measures, strengthening and spreading tolerance and inter-ethnic harmony.
The budget of the program amounts to 14,815.2 million rubles.
