Four Turkish soldiers killed by Kurdish gunmen

At least four soldiers of the Turkish army have been killed in an
attack by gunmen of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in the
southeastern province of Tunceli.

Seven soldiers were wounded, one seriously. Additional troops have
been sent to the area. Helicopters are attempting to find and destroy
the terrorists, local media report.

The General Staff of Turkey has not yet reacted. The conflict with the
PKK has already cost the lives of over 40,000 people. The PKK is
recognized as a terrorist organization by the UN and the European
Union.
