Investigators in the Kuban region are investigating cases of violations at a polling station at the Chelbassky rural settlement in the Kanev region during recent elections for regional head, RIA Novosti reports, quoting the press service of the Regional Investigation Department of the Russian Federation.
The alleged violations were reported by members of the “Patriots of Russia” party, who lost at the polls.
On Sunday, the candidate from the "United Russia" party Alexander Moskalenko received 63.94% of the votes in the election, while his nearest rival - the candidate from the party "Patriots of Russia,” Yuri Ugrumov – only 28.53%.
