Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has formed a list of new members of the Central Election Committee under the presidential quota, which included among others the ex-head of Karachay-Cherkessia, Boris Ebzeev, RIA Novosti reports, citing the Kremlin.
The term of the current members of the Central Election Commission ends in March 2011. The CEC consists from 15 people: five representative of the State Duma, five members appointed by the Council of Federation, five members appointed by the president of the country and suggested by regions.
