Members of the Russian Central Election Committee, Vasily Volkov and Siyabshakh Shapiev, together with the Chairman of the Election Committee of Dagestan Magomed Dibirov have announced the preliminary results of parliamentary polls in the republic, Yuga.ru reports.
As reported previously by VK, elections to the People's Assembly of Dagestan were held yesterday.
According to preliminary reports, the leader in the polls is the United Russia party, second is Fair Russia, third is the Communist Party and fourth place is shared between the "Patriots of Russia," "Justified Cause" and the LDPR.
Commenting on the election, Siyabshakh Shapiev noted that polls in Dagestan were calm.
