Zaur Zeushev, the director of Kavkazcement, one of the largest enterprises in the North Caucasus, was killed today in Karachay-Cherkessia at approximately at 19:30, a spokesperson for the republic's Interior Ministry told ITAR-TASS.
According to law enforcement officials, the main motive of the murder was the professional activity of the victim. Zeuschev had reportedly received anonymous threats.
The Karachay-Cherkessia cement plant was built in 1974. In the 90s it was transformed into the Kavkazcement company, and in 2004 it became a member of the Eurocement holding.
