Engineers have defused a militant bomb near a police officer’s house in the Dagestani town of Kizilyurt, RIA Novosti cites the Kizilyurt police as saying.
The bomb was equivalent to 10 kg of TNT and contained projectiles.
A militant group attacked the Kizilyurt police station on Tuesday night and activated a bomb. A crater with a diameter of 1.5 meters and a depth of 20 cm was left. The police station and the prosecutor’s office nearby had their windows broken and roof damaged.
The bomb was equivalent to 20 kg of TNT. Seven police officers were injured, most suffering from concussion.
